Andrew Jimenez

President & Chief Executive Officer

In 1997, Mr. Jimenez began operating a legal document scanning business in San Francisco with one scanning machine. Today, with numerous locations and over 100 Evolve Discovery team members in major cities spanning the United States. Evolve Discovery provides some of the most respected AMLaw100 law firms and Fortune 500 companies the benefits of partnering with a reputable leader in the discovery field. Mr. Jimenez has over 16 years of litigation support experience, including management and coordination of eDiscovery projects for Intellectual Property, Anti-Trust, SEC investigations and numerous Joint Defense matters. As President and CEO, he is responsible for the operations, sales, marketing, business development and administration of the organization. Over the last decade, Mr. Jimenez has been successful in strategically partnering with Tier 1 eDiscovery software platforms such as Clearwell Systems, kCura Relativity and Recommind Axcelerate. Mr. Jimenez employs a hands-on approach as he continues his consultant role regarding the various software tools, processes, and procedures required to manage electronic data and discovery project management services.

Shamir Colloff

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Colloff has extensive large case management experience with AMLaw 100 law firms. He holds certifications as a Relativity Sales Professional and as an MCLE certified instructor. Mr. Colloff is responsible for consulting with Law Firms and Corporate Clients regarding the best application of technology to contain costs and speed attorney review. He has participated in and supervised multiterabyte data collection, processing, analysis and production. Prior to joining Evolve Discovery, Mr. Colloff was the Practice Support Coordinator for Morrison Foerster's Silicon Valley office. As a Project Co-Lead for the EDRM 2010-2011 Metrics Project Team, Mr. Colloff facilitates effective means of measuring time, money and volume associated with eDiscovery activities. Mr. Colloff's Metrics Project Team is responsible for creating, tracking, reporting and measuring protocols to assess eDiscovery activities.

Carlos Sanchez

Chief Information Officer

Mr. Sanchez is responsible for all infrastructure and security technology strategy as well as systems engineering and development. Mr. Sanchez focuses his efforts on technology solutions for delivery, development, collocation facilities and data center operations. Mr. Sanchez leverages his rich background of business strategy, information systems and systems engineering. Prior to joining Evolve Discovery, Mr. Sanchez served as the Director of IT Infrastructure at Extreme Networks. Mr. Sanchez led the planning, procurement and ongoing support of Extreme Networks' network infrastructure and related services, supporting more than 1,200 employees across 60 countries.

Michael A. Bean, EnCE

Chief Development Officer

Mr. Bean brings more than 15 years of experience to Evolve Discovery. He is a court certified expert and has provided expert testimony in the area of computer forensics, as well as providing official affidavits to support his analysis. As an instructor, Mr. Bean taught advanced-level computer forensics to law enforcement as well as military and corporate computer forensics specialists. His experience encompasses numerous large-scale investigations and data collections concerning defacing of websites, white collar, financial crime, unlawful intrusions, SEC Investigations, employment disputes and Intellectual Property theft. Prior to joining Evolve Discovery, Mr. Bean served as the lead detective for a computer crime squad of a large police department and as a Senior Manager for the world's leading Computer Forensic Software company. He served as President of In2itive Technologies, a company specializing in processing data using advanced computer forensic technology.

Marlena Fejerang

Senior Vice President, Sales

Ms. Fejerang is responsible for Evolve Discovery's business development for the Western Region and oversees large-scale engagements with Fortune 500 firms, notably Visa and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. With over a decade of litigation support experience, Ms. Fejerang has taken on numerous large-scope litigations covering Intellectual Property, Anti-trust, and SEC investigations. Ms. Fejerang has spent the past 12 years building Evolve Discovery's sales and channel programs with AMLaw100 law firms and Fortune 500 corporations.

Sam Chi

Senior Vice President, Discovery Services

Mr. Sam Chi leads the Discovery Consulting division of Evolve Discovery, a team that provides subject-matter expertise on e-discovery strategy and technical solutions. Before joining Evolve Discovery, he managed a national team of electronic discovery technical consultants and project managers at Latham & Watkins, and played an integral part in the group's creation and strategic direction. Mr. Chi has extensive experience consulting with attorneys and Fortune 100 clients on every phase of electronic discovery across a variety of litigation focuses from regulatory matters to patent litigation, and on multi-jurisdictional cases spanning the domestic U.S., Europe and Asia. In his previous career, Mr. Chi managed technology departments for engineering companies and law firms, as well as supporting attorneys as a litigation paralegal and trial technician.

David Wilner

Executive Vice President

Mr. Wilner manages Evolve Discovery's New York office as Executive Vice President. Mr. Wilner has developed and currently manages a portfolio of AMLaw 100 and Fortune 500 accounts. In 2003, he founded Rhino Imaging, a New York-based technology support and document management company that merged with Evolve Discovery. He built the company from a single computer and scanner operation to a multi-million dollar company with a state-of-the-art facility in midtown Manhattan. Prior to establishing Rhino Imaging, he managed production, project management and sales for a litigation support company. Mr. Wilner earned a B.S. in Economics from Colorado State University and a Certificate in Computer Programming from Pace University.

Richard Dilgren, J.D.

Senior Discovery Consultant

Mr. Dilgren joined Evolve Discovery as a Senior Discovery Consultant after spending five years as in-house counsel with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. While working with the San Francisco District Office of Counsel, he managed a diverse portfolio of legal matters, focusing primarily on Federal infrastructure construction projects and wetlands restoration. He received the Department of the Army Commander's Award for Civilian Service for his contributions in 2009. Mr. Dilgren has also worked with the Department of Justice, Civil Division in the Commercial Litigation Branch. Mr. Dilgren is a certified Relativity Sales Professional, and has managed millions of documents, hundreds of reviewers and terabytes of ESI in the discovery process. He was a member of Hastings Communication and Entertainment Law Journal and an award-winning moot court participant and coach. Mr. Dilgren graduated from U.C. Hastings College of Law with a J.D. in 2006.

David Swider

Senior Discovery Consultant

Mr. Swider has over 25 years of experience in litigation support, ranging from paper discovery to electronic data discovery , including advanced search and review technologies. Mr. Swider is a certified Relativity Sales Professional and created the kCura Relativity Users Group mailing list to support the Relativity user community. Mr. Swider consults with clients to select the most appropriate tools to conduct effective, efficient and defensible review. Prior to joining Evolve Discovery, Mr. Swider worked for Syngence, an innovator in the latent symantic indexing market.

Jenny On

Director of Project Management

Ms. On has worked at AMLaw 100 firms, including Bingham McCutchen where she was the third party lead in the Oracle v. PeopleSoft matter. Most recently, Ms. On was a Legal Analyst at Pillsbury Winthrop where she assisted in a multi-million dollar case from inception to trial. Over the course of her career, Ms. On has been responsible for countless witness preparations for depositions and trial. Ms. On understands the legal issues in many types of litigation and is able to manage the technological aspect of these cases. She is a Certified Paralegal with over 11 years in complex case management.

Joshua Hoffman, J.D.

Director of Review Operations

Mr. Hoffman has extensive experience managing large scale document reviews for both law firms and eDiscovery consulting firms. Mr. Hoffman has supervised teams of attorney reviewers and worked with multiple Fortune 500 clients. He has collaborated with the client's outside counsel to develop search strategies and review protocols for multi-terabyte document collections. When working at law firms, Mr. Hoffman collaborated extensively with outside litigation support vendors on complex litigation electronic document reviews and gained substantial experience with multiple eDiscovery platforms. Mr. Hoffman earned his J.D. at Golden Gate University School of Law and B.S. at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

William Lies, Esq.

Senior Project and Recruiting Manager

Mr. Lies is an attorney with over 28 years of legal experience, the last 13 of them in AMLaw 100 firms. Mr. Lies first practiced law in the area of general civil litigation and later worked on several multi-billion dollar financial services class action antitrust cases. Mr. Lies has co-managed strategic eDiscovery matters and teams of over 200 contract attorneys. He has a J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. He holds a B.M. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mark Cox, EnCE

Senior Forensic Consultant

Mr. Cox brings more than 10 years of experience as a court certified expert in computer forensics. Mr. Cox has provided expert testimony in the area of computer forensics as well as official affidavits supporting his analytical findings. Mr. Cox was the Director of Information Technology and Senior Forensic Consultant at In2itive Technologies. Mr. Cox has provided computer forensics training for introductory and advanced classes. His background experience includes numerous investigations involving defacing of websites, unlawful intrusions, SEC investigations, employee disputes and intellectual property theft. He has processed multiple terabytes of information relating to civil and criminal litigation.

Michael Ciaramitaro, EnCE

Senior Forensic Consultant and Technical Manager

Mr. Ciaramitaro has extensive experience in data harvesting using EnCase, FTK, NEMX, Transend and Device Seizure. Moreover, he is an expert in preserving, harvesting and analyzing Electronically Stored Information from multiple media repositories. He has worked closely in assisting attorneys with planning electronic discovery, deposition questions, expert declarations and computer forensic strategies. Mr. Ciaramitaro has successfully managed the collection, processing and hosting of data to online review platforms while providing client support and project management for multiple civil and corporate projects. Mr. Ciaramitaro has a strong knowledge of Computer Forensic Methodology and Evidence Handling Procedures with formal classroom training in Computer Forensic and Electronic Discovery methodology. He is an expert in PC hardware and software across both Windows and Linux operating systems, and has effectively managed concurrent projects on schedule and within budget.
